The Wheeler Opera House will present Nashville-based alternative rock group Elliot Root as part of its On the Rise series on Friday, September 29 at 7:30 p.m. The fall On the Rise series was designed with locals in mind to highlight the talents of new, up-and-coming musical artists. Single tickets for Elliot Root are $25. Elliot Root is an American alternative rock music group based in the heart of Music City—Nashville, TN. Having released their first two EPs in 2015, the band has quickly garnered attention from the local Nashville music scene, topping Spotify’s “Sounds of Nashville” Top 100 chart and reaching Spotify’s U.S. Viral 50 Chart. With the release of their new album, “Conjure” on August 25, 2017, Elliot Root is preparing to make a splash on the national scene. They have performed alongside Lord Huron, the Zac Brown Band, X Ambassadors, Spearhead, Michael Franti and more.
