“Adding in a space where up-and-coming comics can come be a part of the Aspen Laugh Festival was key to me as we curated this year’s lineup,” says Gena Buhler, Wheeler Opera House Executive Director and Festival Director of the Aspen Laugh Festival. “Festivals play an important role in the development of comedians today, and being sure that we were able to host more than just headliners is a very important part of this festival. They’ll be in town for a few days, so outside of their shows, they’ll be able to do a bit of community outreach and enjoy all that Aspen has to offer. Plus, being able to bring free laughs to Aspen during après seemed like the perfect fit!”
