Optimum Events and Eagle Ranch merchants present the second-annual Septemberfest Eagle presented by Soleil Homes at Brush Creek this weekend in Eagle Ranch Village. Eight bands have been booked and the event is planning two stages, hosting live music Friday, September 7 and Saturday, September 8. Gates open at 3:30 p.m. on both days. Last Chance tickets are on sale now.
Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe and The Wailers will headline Friday and Saturday’s musical lineups, respectively. Friday’s lineup also includes San Francisco-based rockers, The Stone Foxes and Left on Tenth. Second stage music features The Cliff Notes, playing during main stage set breaks.
Saturday’s openers, Great American Taxi with Special Guest Vince Herman (Leftover Salmon) take the stage at 4:30 p.m., followed by Trout Steak Revival and legendary headliners, The Wailers. Colorado bluegrass will fill the second stage during set breaks with Hardscrabble. Both nights also feature live music during post parties held at 7 Hermits Brewing in Eagle Ranch.
Food vendors and full bars will be set up on Capitol Street, in addition to local merchants. A portion of all Septemberfest proceeds will benefit the Greater Eagle River Fire Protection District’s MDA “Fill the Boot” campaign and the District will host a free onsite bike valet during the event.
Beginning Friday, September 7 at 9:00 a.m. through Sunday morning, September 9, Capitol Street in Eagle will be closed from Brush Creek Road through Sylvan Lake Road. Residents and festival attendees may access Eagle Ranch Village via Sylvan Lake Road. Free parking is available behind Eagle Ranch businesses, with overflow parking available at Brush Creek Elementary School after 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 7. The event asks visitors to respect all parking signage and Eagle Ranch residents’ private property.
On Saturday, September 8, Gemini Adventures hosts the Mountain RATS trail running endurance races and the Septemberfest 5k fun run/walk. All races will start and finish in the Septemberfest venue.
