 The Wild and Scenic Rivers Act, the highest level of protection for waterways, is 50! As the Act celebrates a half century of protecting some of our greatest rivers, we hope you’ll join us in celebrating its accomplishments-and in working for its future. Wilderness Workshop and American Rivers invite the community to celebrate and learn more about this important conservation tool.
Featuring: A series of short films, including “Protected” featuring award-winning author/photographer Tim Palmer; A photo presentation about the importance of Wild & Scenic Rivers; Discussion about Deep Creek, an eligible Wild and Scenic River in western Colorado and the opportunity to protect it; and a Q & A session. $10 tickets include beer and food from Mi Casita.
