PROGRESS REPORT

Project Progress:

  • The shoulder of northbound CO-82 has been striped from Buffalo Valley to approximately 27th Street to allow for a third lane to accommodate EMS, transit and vanpools. This is in an effort to make transit more efficient for those who are doing their part to reduce traffic during peak times.
  • Steel girders are set to arrive the last week of August. The schedule for erecting steel is approximately 10 days.
  • Crews plan to pour the first column for the new traffic bridge today.
  • Crews have removed half of the concrete deck to date. The rest of the deck is being removed in the next week.
  • Crews have removed and recycled approximately half of the steel girders from the old Grand Avenue Bridge.
